Howdy' Partner - Cowboys and Cooks launches 2nd location.

It's that time of the season were everyday you just want to go to a beautiful restaurant and have a bottle of perfectly chilled bubbly or chardonnay and food that tastes as amazing as it reads on the menu. Well, look no further as a new steakhouse and bar has reached the shores of De Waterkant: Cowboys and Cooks . Recently, I was invited to attend the launch of Cowboys and Cooks second location which is located in 4 Liddle Strett, De Waterkant, Green Point. More than 600+ invited guests flocked the restaurant making it one big party. The steakhouse and bar is different from its first location situated in 4 Ocean Way, Sunset beach. With 130 seating arrangement across the main floor, as well as nook areas which can be closed off for private dining events. The decor exudes old townhouse yet modern luxury with fresh flowers everywhere, wonderful light and open areas during good weather days, and warm, fire-side, library-style decor in the evenings changing the mood to a more intimat

KONG Bar & Grill Review

Image
Recently I was invited to review one of Cape Town's hottest new bar and grill,"KONG" located in An-De-Waterkant, Green Point. Obviously I know the place pretty well as I attended the opening launch a couple of months back and have also attended their Thursday evenings soiree a couple of times. Honestly, the vibe there is amazing, especially on Thursday's, imagine having your dinner downstairs from let's say 7 pm with your girls or boys, and they just shared some great news for this month of November, a special of the week, pasta, and a glass of house wine for only R95.00. Then later you go upstairs to get some bubbly, for free, and play some pool or take some Instagram worth pictures. A perfect Thursday well spent. Back to my review, I had not yet tasted everything from Kong bar and grill's chef but I had already done my research regarding the menu. We decided to order quite a few things so that we can taste at-least three different mains and dessert

Progress: Ep 2 : The Interview

Image
Hello Progressives. I think I will call y'all by that name from now on. So my second episode: The interview is basically a one on one with one of my good friends, Buntubakhe, were he is asking me questions regarding why I started this movement. A more in-depth conversation on what this series is about and what I want people to understanding from it and again, opening that conversation on gender-fluidity and non-binary beings. It is short and simple and sweet moments captured. I definitely think that this is going to give you a clear understanding of who I am. Hope you all enjoy it and DON'T FORGET TO SUBSCRIBE and HIT THAT BELL BUTTON so that you don't get left out when the next two episodes air. XOXO

Progress: Ep 1

I have been working on this for the past 3 years. From being a book to being a photo series to now finally being a video series. Honestly, I had already axed it last year and seen myself as a failure after numerous times of trying to bring it out to the world and not being able to. I created Progress with the intention of educating people about the genderless and non-binary community and opening conversations regarding who we are and what we have to offer this world.  I remember shooting my first project for Progress: Post Gender Fluidity and stripping myself bare to the world of social media with the first edited pictures and feeling like nothing can stop me from going through with my plan. Well received with interviews on "A Nasty Boy", my work being shown on CNN Africa and Hunger Magazine etc. As the saying goes: “Don't count your chickens before they are hatched.”, I was not able to publish the book I had created as I could not get all the funds needed.  Long stor

KONG Bar and Grill. Retro has returned.

Image
PoseZA attended a few events last week but none was as much fun as the launch of KONG Bar and Grill . Quite honestly, Cape Town has lost a lot of places that had a vibe to them, where festive dinners can enjoy themselves. Gone are the days of clubbing or going to a club, festive dining has become a trend and a trend that is taking over. Located in the thriving heart of the buzzing, flamboyant De Waterkant, KONG offers a wide variety of delicious intercontinental cuisine within a laid back yet vibrant setting. The colorful and contemporary design with retro interior come together in this welcoming lush gastropub that boasts a welcoming atmosphere amid an abundance of character and superior acoustics. The menu offers Capetonians a wide variety of modern bistro-style food dishes with Eastern, European and Asian influences. Meals are prepared daily, with an emphasis on freshness. Using the highest quality ingredients and seasonal produce sourced from local suppliers to compliment the chi

SAMW S/S20 dates confirmed

Image
As we just received news that SAMW S/S20 will kick off with an evening presentation from selected designers on the 05 of July 2019 leading to all shows on the 06 of July 2019 we recall this year's A/W19. I did not do a review as I had planned for this year's A/W 2019 due to honestly not having enough time as I had just started varsity at Red and Yellow Creative School of Business and still working. I decided on using my social media to cover the event and leave it at that. It’s been six months now at the varsity and I have finally got the hang of things. So I will be reviewing the designers which left me gasping for air and taking in the impact they have on social change, gender and sexuality. The reason is due to the shift which you will be seeing, if not yet on my social media channels and on PoseZA. Lifestyle will always be the number one priority as I have clearly stated on PoseZA Aim but as I have grown and transitioned, my lifestyle has changed slightly as I am aware

Profile: The name behind "The Little Black Book PR and Events Co."

Image
The is no event like an event done by The Little Black Book owned by Marina Nestel. I honestly can't remember the first event I attended hosted by the amazing, humble soul that is Marina, but one thing I know for sure was that it was nothing but pure bliss. When attending an event, three things must be checked off the list to ensure that it was more than a call for action but a concept that resonates with the client mission yet understanding the clientele that will be attending the event and how to get them raving about it on social media: Great crowd, good wine, and a great DJ. The Little Black Book PR and Events understands the slightest detail when it comes to client and clientele relationship which makes sense when you look at her past clients, both locally and internationally including Tommy Hilfiger International and Hugo Boss International, The Italian Chair District, Kartell, The Alphen Hotel, Bungalow Restaurant, International WIE conference, The One & Only Hotel,
