Read up on the brand below:
VERUS FINE JEWELLERY
Verus is the Latin word for ‘real’. Latin because we aim for an almost extinct standard of classical elegance and luxury in our jewellery. ‘Real’ for our love of all things genuine and true – in how we design and manufacture our collections, and the materials we do it with.
THE GOLDSMITHING
Every single piece is 100% handmade in South Africa by artisanal goldsmiths in the Jhb workshop. From the creative idea to the finished item, nothing is computerised.
THE METAL
We use only use the highest quality bench metal. No plating, no vermeil, and nothing is gold filled! Just 18k Gold with a special focus on Rose Gold and Red Gold.
THE STONES
Our stones are natural precious or semi-precious, sourced from South Africa and
the rest of Africa. We exclusively support independent brokers and small suppliers from across the continent.
THE PEOPLE
Verus was founded by longtime friends Gill Eerenstein, jewellery designer and manufacturer, together with Candice Ilic, designer and personal stylist. Both are known for their effortless style and keen eye for timeless elegance.
Now they bring these qualities to an exquisite and authentic range that celebrates the meeting of classical design and the attitude of current trends.
The Verus collection is designed for the discerning shopper.
Understated. Authentic. Exceptional.
To be worn every day and at any occasion.
