"Fashion finds" was born when me and my good friends Sam decided to take a walk to the mall nearby where we live and go through every clothing store the is whether expensive or cheap. Of-course we were looking for bargains and bargains we got. The following department stores have been looked down under by most people and I will admit that I was one of those people until that day. Ackermans, Fashion Express, Legit and Jet have been our inspiration lately, not that we cannot afford more expensive stores but why the need of buying something expensive when you only going to wear it once when you can get something trendy and cheap and for a fact you will be wearing it most of the time. Okay, the following statement could be a debate but if you get something cheap and trendy, why not buy 2 of them and keep one for later.   On the 17 April 2013, Tommy Hilfiger launched his store at the V&A Waterfront, Cape Town. I was fortunate enough to be invited by Elle Magazine to accompany them to the event with Tracy (radio DJ and actress). I got to the event just about time as they opened the store to the media and served champagne. Outside they had 4 models which included a close friend of mine, Beauty, in Tommy's latest collection with two cute little dogs as we took pictures. The inside of the store was your ever Tommy Hilfiger style, very nautical and packed with his Spring/Summer collection. The atmosphere was buzzing with excitement and big gasps. As the evening went by, bloggers started to flood in and flashes were the order of the day. The crowd included the Tommy Hilfiger International Publicist Claire, the Elle team consisting of Jackie Burger (editor), Taryn (fashion editor)and Holly (online editor). Some celebrities showed their faces as well, the likes of Liezel (TV personal
