Summer Season at The Station on Bree – turning Thursday into the new Friday! The Thursday Reveal

It may sometimes feel that the weekend can’t come soon enough and that to wait until Friday is a day too long to wait. However, fear not, as this summer The Station on Bree ushers in the start of the season with the launch of Thursday Reveal at The Station on Bree. Hosted by local talent and internationally renowned DJ, saxophonist and percussion specialist, George Sax, the amazing line-up promises to deliver the vibe, energy and world-class entertainment for which this popular Bree Street hang-out is known. Having fast become a Capetonian favourite since opening its doors in 2016, this summer, The Station on Bree is going bigger and better. Every Thursday throughout summer, George Sax, will be joined on stage by an array of home-grown talent. An array of performers will showcase the best of what Africa has to offer in a setting that fuses the iconic design of the London Underground with the bustling and cosmopolitan atmosphere of Bree Street.
Whilst The Station on Bree guarantees a great night’s entertainment, it’s the food that always takes centre stage at this fantastic venue. To accompany the launch of the Thursday Reveal at The Station on Bree, November sees the introduction of a new summer menu. Continuing in the manner of ‘unpretentious street food’, The Station on Bree offers a casual Mediterranean-infused dining style that focuses on fresh flavours and simple ingredients. From leisurely lunches through to late dinners, visitors have the option of traditional main meals or ordering from a choice of small plates that taps into the culinary trend for a more shared and social approach to dining currently sweeping through the gastronomic world. Billed as Cape Town’s first underground meeting place, The Station on Bree is a unique, multi-storied venue with a variety of different stations and platforms located throughout.
