EDITOR'S NOTE F inally the day has arrived. This is our First Big Issue for Pose – FTL and we are so proud. The hours that have been put to make this issue, hard work and dedication, I have no words. This is the first time in our lives that we are so nervous about anything that we were sceptical of publishing this issue and resorting to find a stupid excuse not to do so but after everything was edited, proof read, sharpened and the final product was right in front of us, we had no choice but to be proud of ourselves. The Cape Town Fashion Council article is the root cause for all of this, meaning, the blog and the awaited website. It has always been one of the topics that I have always wanted to digest as I do not see the point of having an organisation like CTFC and seeing nothing come out of it. Summer In Winter: Trend Forecast With winter slowly creeping in we bet you fashionistas are wondering what trends you should invest in this season, well here's the lowdown. This season we minimize on the layering and keep silhouettes sharp, clean and sophisticated, yes most of us associated winter with layering but this time round the idea is summer being the new winter and no this doesn't mean you should leave the house in a vest and shorts but about using summers most popular garments which include shark mouth and cropped tops,floral and tribal prints, maxi skirts, high waisted full circle skirts and buying them in warmer fabrics.
