BUC Fitness Club launched

Image
BUC Fitness Club launched this week and had a huge party at their Sea Point club. The gathering and celebration invited all the whose-who of Cape Town and even Mika Stefano was present. The club is fully equipped with everything that you need to get into shape and be healthy. We were more excited when we saw the Sweat 1000 sign and wanted to sign up asap. The club is more than just a gym, it is a lifestyle and I have to say I am impressed. I even won a PUMA voucher for running shoes which I will use as soon as I sign up and start my Sweat 1000 classes. Special mention to sponsors: Lourensford Estate wine, Cruz Vodka, Peroni South Africa, Infinetix (Pty) Ltd and Linkqage cc, PUMA. For more information and how to join: Phone 021 439 9903 Email andrew@sweat1000.com Website http://www.buc.cc/

Look Post : Double Impact

Image
Look Post: Double Impact Lately I have been enjoying a lot of menswear to such a point that for most of you that know me, its quite strange. I usually gather my inspiration from women-swear and try to adapt it on this male figure of mine. After this years MBFWCT, I decided to give menswear a chance and with the current trends, sport luxe, clean cuts and urban grunge it was not a long discussion. If you have not yet noticed, My Instagram account ( click here ) is alive more than ever now and the looks that I pull will be more uploaded there as I do not want to bombard you will " How Do I Look" rather than content. So follow me here and I will make sure to at least keep you entertained and hopefully inspired. Face Up : Yardley doing me good!

Image
So I've decided to post something that obliviously everyone knows I wear and will be doing so every Wednesday showing you my face for the day or evening. I recently changed the brand that I used previously for my face as it made it very oily and too much to maintain. I had to powder up every 30 minutes especially my t-zone area ( across forehead and straight down to the tip of my nose). After numerous counts going to make up departments and trying to find the almost perfect powder but not expensive, I was introduced to the Yardley STAYFAST Press Powder . I immediately fell in-love as it gave me a matte but realistic look after applying and the price was not bad as-well and decided to get myself a Yardley Luxurious Lush Lashes mascara . Sometimes its best to use products from the same brand as they compliment each other. Some info on the press powder which made me fall more in-love with it was that its STAYFAST formula that lasts up to 12 hours and they have 16 shades for all color

Jinn x Arnreuby Fashion Show: 07/08/2014 marked the day that Arnreuby (Odysseus clothing label) partnered with Jinn ( jewel and bag designer Jeanine Benjamin) to showcase their latest collections. I was first introduced to Odysseus when he was on The Cut S.A. His creativity made him the runner up for the showbut from there on he made sure that his name will not be forgotten. He showcased at numerous fashion weeks throughout the past 5-8 years such as MBFWCT etc. Arnreuby is a ready to wear label with African details. His latest collection called "Afrikanah" consist of African prints infused with a modern take on silhouettes and separated. While chatting with him hours prior to the event at his studio, I had the privilege to see the collection and see him work. The amount of passion and love he has for fashion was inspiring. He showed me the entire process of the collection from the inspiration, the mood boards, the pattern work to him actually sewing the collection all a
