Mai Thai Wellness Spa review.

Image
Last week PoseZA was invited to an escape to Paradise in The Heart of Cape Town at the Mai Thai wellness spa in Green Point. Been to quite a few Spa's in my lifetime, its always amazing to find one that takes you on a journey you have never been before. As I got out of the cab, I could see why it has been a jewel for Cape Town as it is a bit hidden but nonetheless when you enter the amazing wooden work door, you are transported to Thailand there and then. The interior is as authentic as Thailand, giving you a beach hotel Spa with an aroma of the sea and an eastern passage using Vuudh's Eastern collection, a very personal experience of travels and recollections of fragrances from each city and giving you an exquisite and exotic touch to enrich your lifestyle. You are then giving a tour to the garden space where you'll relax after your treatments which is beyond words especially when the sun sets and you have candle lights flouting around the main tree. I was given the opti

Debut of The 41 Restaurant

Image
This past Saturday, PoseZA attended the debut of upscale local eatery in Camps Bay – The 41 I had been waiting for this day for more than a month as everytime passing by it, while under construction, you could see exactly how amazing it would be once finished. Upon arrival, it was all about the red carpet, everyone looked amazing and ready to party. Besides how amazing the restaurant is, the food is ten times amazing. We were treated with delicious canapés while sipping on champagne or if you wanted something stronger and refreshing, cocktails by Lanique. A huge space with a patio to die for for the upcoming summer evening cocktails. With over hundrend people invited, you could have anticipated  uncomfortable times but that was never the issue. An evening of lovely chats with old friends and meeting new ones and dancing the night off with Ard Matthew. Honestly, The 41 is to be the perfect spot for this summer, mark my words. X-ONE launched in South Africa

Image
Last week PoseZA attended the launch of the biggest and baddest screen protector X-ONE at the Harley Davidson Cape Town. Fashion, bikes and make up was the order of the evening but not taking centre stage as the impressive X-ONE cellphone accessories. We were shown exactly why they are number one with a demonstration of how powerful their phone charger is, by using it as a tow cable with one Harley Davidson bike pulling another Harley Davidson. We were also treated to Liezel and Mishka hammering and stabbing the CEO's phone with the X-ONE screen protector and literally nothing to show of it, no scratches whatsoever. The Terminator of all Mobile Screen Protectors Having being created from a top secret formula, originally used as a composite material to protect military helicopter blades, X-One’s extreme series of shock absorption mobile phone accessories has been designed to stand protected against hostile objects and the daily misfortunes of wear and tear like no other. LUXE launches flagship spa at Cavendish Square

Image
PoseZA recently attended the flagship store launch for Luxe laser and Spa at Cavendish Square, Claremont. It felt like a dejavu as it was not so long ago that I attended their Sea point opening and what an evening of fun it was and very much informative. What I like about the Luxe spa more than their friendly staff and how affordable their treatments are is how you always leave with so much information about their products and their treatments process, giving you a more in depth of the products you use and how they affect your body and skin. Here is a Q&A and pictures from the evening. How many spa's does Luxe have now? Due to growing demand, LUXE are launching their third spa in Cape Town since February. With more planned to open both locally and nationally, LUXE Spa’s are located in Tamboerskloof, Sea Point & now in Cavendish Square - the center of the Southern Suburbs. How many treatments does your spa cater for its clients? From bikini lines to between the eyebro
