A few months back we did a shoot with Khanya "Kyeezi" Siyengo on a collaboration with a fashion label we loved from Menswear Fashion Week in Febuary, Kim Gush. The concept of the shoot was to take someone that is becoming the new face or voice when it comes to hustling into this industry we call Entertainment, and Khanya was the perfect match as he was dabbling his radio show "Bread and Butter with Kyeeze", and his television show "Win A Home", pairing him with a fashion designer that is breaking all barriers when it comes to normality and fashion. As a busy man working to get where you want to be in life sometimes you have to sit down and reflect on all that you have achieved so far and get away from the tall buildings that surround you and the hundreds of people walking past you. Winter has arrived and will soon be over in no time. I feel that June month is the month we should start working on our summer bodies ,were everything sports goes. So when I decided to shoot a sports inspired fashion spread, there was no other brand I could think of but ERKE. I was first introduced to the brand three years ago when they opened their first store in the Southern Hemisphere in Gardens, Cape Town. I immediately fell in love with the brand due to its versatility in sports wear, not to mention the owners, Spiros and Nadia, who are one of the most friendliest people I have ever worked with. Typically I would have gone sport luxe with this shoot, however I decided to make it as comfortable to reflect on the clothes. PoseZA was recently invited to the launch of the Luxe Laser hair removal in Sea Point by The Little Black Book PR , where we were given the opportunity to see how painless free the treatment is and how it works on all skin types and ages. It's been a while...... Last week, PoseZA was invited to the flagship store for Crumbs and Cream in Sea Point. Literally 50 steps away from my house, I was intrigued to what I saw while they where still under construction and quickly googled their name " Crumbs and Cream ". When I received an invite to the opening from The Little Black Book , I was too excited as I wanted to take a ride on their swing, they have a swing inside the store actually two. With their quirky interior and colourful walls, it almost feels like you are back in kindergarten, playing with your toys and eating a lot of cookies. PoseZA recently attended the media and VIP guest launch for the long awaited opening of H&M South Africa at the V&A Waterfront. When I say long awaited, I mean since we all heard about it from the beginning of the year, coming to the preview we attended in June ( http://poseza.blogspot.co.za/search?q=h%26m ) where we were introduced to the brand and we were left wanting more. H&M has made a record with opening the biggest store in South Africa if not the entire hemisphere. The store does not only cater for fashion but also have their fabulous home department and kiddies department. As celebrities, media and the VIP guest invited by H&M flocked in around 7pm as the store was officially opened to the invited, all you could see was flashes everywhere as paparazzi and media outlets snapped away and interviews were underway.
