Alessia Boutique S/S collection launch

Last week Thursday, Mandiso and I attended the Alessia Boutique Spring/Summer collection and cocktail soiree where we were the first people to view the boutique summer collection and introducing a gorgeous imported swim wear by Ani Ani (from The Netherlands) which is all made in Portugal and use the highest quality fabrics which are all carefully selected in Paris. As we arrived, greeted by the owner of the store and having a small chat about not having any sleep what-so-ever as she was preparing everything for the event, she shows pride of her work and dedication which is something that a-lot of boutique owner lack in Cape Town. Re-visiting the first launch we attended for Alessia , last year but owned by a different person, we cannot help ourselves but compare the events. Now Jeannine was first introduced to me last year at an event and we hit it off from then. I can still recall as she was telling me how her daughter is always stealing her clothes and how much she feels Cape Town needs a boutique that will cater for trend but classic clothing that she and her daughter can probably exchange or swap sometimes. Now looking at what she has done to the boutique, bringing International brands that exude quality and a flare of expensiveness I am proud to be probably one of the first people who were told an idea and actaull able to see it in just over a year.
We were treated with Bossman wines, Cruz Vodka cosmo coktails and canapés by Très Chic Catering while we walked around the store gushing at everything from Raphaella Booz and Jimmy Choo shoes and accessories and having conversation with some of South Africa's a-list socialites and celebrities.
A mini fashion show showcased the new swim wear which got all the ladies oohing and as soon as the fashion show finished, it was as if on your marks, ready, steady and go was shot as the ladies flocked to purchase their loves from the summer range. As if that was not enough, vouchers from Alessia, Dante Wellness & Dante Express, Kavanagh's HAIR SALON and Fit Squared went to some lucky guests as a draw was conducted.
I want to congratulate Jeanine on the succesful launch andwish her many more to come. Hard work always pays out more than you expect.
