Infusion on Long - CBD infused cuisines!

PoseZA recently attended the Grand opening of Infusion on Long which is situated at 57 Long Street, Cape Town. Prior to the launch, when our editor received the press release for the optional CBD infused dishes to choose from and a wide variety of delicious cuisine, we were all excited to try their menu. We had already tried CBD infused coffee and are huge fans but CBD infused cuisines, this was the first for us. Super excited to have a new, fantastic coffee bar and a superb deli for food on the go as our editor works in the city, he could not wait to try their menu and see what he will be having for lunch everyday. A strong Mediterranean infused cuisine is expressed in Chef’s worldly inspired creations which offer a global fusion of fresh flavours produced with state-of-the-art equipment. A unique concept as far as flavours and ingredients go, suited to all whether it be family, business or even casual diners. As they say, “The older the Port wine, the better…”, which is true of the combined experience of Chef Julian Gabriel (2019 Eat Out Tapas Daily Eatery award winner) and, General Manager, Nelson Ferreira. Their extensively well-travelled upbringing, growth and memories made with some of the city’s best operators, have culminated to this moment in time and they are proud to present to you and the city of Cape Town- InFusion On Long.

The decor is simple, easy and is an open plan with amazing Gerhard vd Westhuizen's art on display for February only and they are all available For Sale before most of these pieces leave for Zurich. The kitchen is open for you to see and experience your cuisine being prepared and allowing you to sample their food and find your perfect dish. It is always a great way to entice and excite your customers when you are able to share your love for food as a chef with your customers watching. Always feels like you are watching a cooking show but this time around, you are able to eat the food. The guest had a ball as the evening came to close and we have decided this is our best yet restaurant for 2020. Infusion on Long, is open from breakfast to dinner Monday to Saturday.
