Ruald Rheeder 2013/14 MBFWCT collection.




I can't remember the exact date but it was last year when I met up with Ruald Rheeder, the designer for Ruald Rheeder brand which is also available at YDE. We met at a coffee restaurant at the V&A Waterfront, and had a great conversation about him showcasing at the Cape Town fashion week. As the conversation continued, I remember asking Ruald as to what to expect from him for 2013 and how he gets his inspiration. Ruald explained to me that he travels a lot to find the inspiration, the perfect prints, fabrics and trims and then comes back to South Africa and creates a collection for his consumers with all the inspiration he received while traveling. I have to say, that is exactly what he did with his Spring/Summer 2013/14. The prints are bold, the colors are rich and the fabrics are quality. Take a look for yourself:
