Review: Odyssey Fashion Project 2014
The Year 2014 ended off with quite a Fashion Bang on 20th December as Odyssey Fashion Project sponsored by DDEM management presented 15 designers showcasing their talents at Old Mutual Campus Couryard in Pinelands.
The evening saw a variety of designer talent by Cape Town Based Designers as beautiful models walked the walk and Goldie Style Labs Style Reporter saw to it that Cape Town based Photographer Noel Solomon was on location capturing some awesome shots for Style Lab. Pose.Za review of fashion seen in images below: As December was quite a busy month for all, I heard about the Odyssey Fashion Project but unfortunately I missed it. Through a good friend of mine "Goldie Style Labs" I was able to review the show. Below are some of the pictures I found representing the event and some of the looks that caught my eye. The OFP was not only about fashion, rather design as it included young and upcoming hairstylist and make up artist. Cape Town has been known for its artistic value and the amount of talent we have when it comes to design. We where of-course the Design Capital for 2014. As I reviewed all the collections and styling from head to toe of some of the upcoming fashion brands in Cape Town I was not surprised to the talent and execution I saw. I love the fact that most designer were on board with what was trending and will be trending throughout 2015. I loved the maxi dress and jogger in monochrome and was taken back with the swimwear range as it brought back the 90's influence in fashion. The make up and hair was subtle giving focus to the clothes. Slick back and curls ruled the runway. I have to say i was pretty jealous to not have attended the event as it seemed I missed out alot. Its Official that Kaapstad het Baie fashion talent! We are sure the OFP Team will have many more exciting shows to look forward to in future :)!
