The L’Ormarins Queen’s Plate

The L’Ormarins Queen’s Plate is taking place this Saturday, 10 January embarking the first big event this year. Social media has been on a frenzy on the event as it will be larger than before with more excitement, luxury, fashion, A-list celebrities and bloggers. With entertainment and what we bloggers await for patiently "BEST DRESSED & BEST HAT" the is no reason for you not to be there. As you may all know the event has a specific dress code which requires adherence and if not, the organisers have the write to bar access to people dressed inappropriate racing attire and within the blue and white dress code. So I decided to share my little knowledge to all those in need of it. Below are two short mood-boards, painting an idea as to how to dress for the event. I have specifically chosen Woolworths and its brands to give you an insight and put an idea as to what to look at when shopping for your look ( I do believe though that you should have your outfit already planned by now, this is a big event after all) and because Woolworths is more affordable for the month of January ( coughs).

So, the SA Style Awards 2014 where held last week and I was not surprised when it was announced that the Most stylish model : Joelle Kayembe. I have been seeing Joelle a lot lately from the events I go to and I have to say, she always looks on point. The most humblest model I know as I had a chat with her at the ERKE store launch this year and she gave so much advice through her experiences in the Fashion Industry.
